Isaac in the twilight, trembling in surprise,

Wondering who had brought the game before his eyes.

A taste of deception, a feast of disguise,

As Jacob stood before him, the blessings to apprise.

Fear and trembling, deep within his soul,

Like David's wounded heart, it took a heavy toll.

A cry of bitterness, an anguished wail,

Esau's dreams shattered, like a sinking sail.
